It was a personlized tour on several levels, as Nathan not only geared his presentation to our interests, but also shared with us some of his favorite places of the area as well as the more popular tourist stops. Dense fog and high winds prevented us from getting much of a view from Cadillac Mountain, but Nathan more than made up for it with a highly informative and entertaining commentary, demonstrating some real acting and comedic skills along the way. We had an amazing experience in a very comfortable air conditioned minivan on this steamy 95 degree day! We stopped and walked through multiple sites and were glad to come back to the cool van where Nathan had water available. This slightly longer tour allows for a truly personalized experience where we have time to visit the best stops from my shorter tour, while also exploring quieter corners and sights beyond the park loop road. All at the perfect pace.. See it the way it should be seen.

It seems everyone has heard about sunrises here, but my favorite time to enjoy the park is in the evenings. There is something special about the light here. That is true all day, but the evenings tend to be pure magic. Most of the tourists disappear in the late afternoon. They all have the same ideas about how to beat the crowds to the same couple places. They all plan to eat lobster back in town at the same time… But I live here. Come with me for a special excursion at the time when the park is at its best!

He expertly maneuvered our way through the crowded areas, while still enabling us to see everything, and he also took us to some other lesser known locations that were so beautiful. Nathan was a safe driver and very knowledgeable of Acadia park history and interesting facts not found in guidebooks I enjoyed the 3 hr tour. We hiked up many spots, and saw various beautiful park sights. Nathan is friendly, funny and made sure to know I was comfortable.
